“On the road again….”
In late March 2023, we took a road trip to Melbourne to see my daughter and some friends. We stayed at the beautifully refurbished Sir George Hotel in Jugiong the first night, and set off early the next day along the road to Gundagai, Yackandandah and Beechworth. We spent a couple of nights at a picture-perfect ‘tiny home’ called Larnook in Sherbrooke in Victoria’s Yarra Valley – an excellent location from which to explore the wine district. After a couple of nights in central Melbourne with family and friends, we took a scenic drive back to Sydney via Wangaratta, Violet Town and the charmingly preserved village of Chiltern. Road trips rock. Here are a few highlights from this one.
